Silver is a good color! It just shouldn’t be the only color. You could say that no more than 10% of a production year can be substantially the same color.

Better yet, allow direct sales from manufacturers so that the end user can pick the color rather than a dealer who doesn’t want to risk cars sitting on the lot (though Tesla’s choices are as bland as anyone else’s, so who knows how much it would help).

All of these would look better in other colours imo but you do you. (I was mainly talking about no gray on small cars as it takes away some to all of their personality)

If the Model 3 were a liftback and were available in yellow... yeah, I’d strongly consider one.

(The yellow both because I’m sick of boring colors to the point of, “fuck it, give me the loudest color you can”, as well as... Tesla should make yellow cars just to tweak the authors of that piece claiming there’s not safety tape at the Fremont factory because “Elon doesn’t like yellow”. (There is safety tape.))

To be fair, that’s more your own death.

But, I can take my test in a 1500 pound, 55 horsepower new before a 3-speed automatic eats up a lot of that power, Geo Metro... and then drive a Bugatti Chiron, or a 26,000 pound box truck, or a 14,000 pound 1-ton pickup truck with a 22,000 pound trailer on it, all perfectly legally.
